Heater works but no warm air to front of van. removed cushions etc to gain access and discovered 1) pipe not connected in centre section; 2) flexible pipe partially crushed where it comes up through the floor.
Does this simply pull out from a pipe/connector that is under the floor?
I would appreciate confirmation before dragging it out.

BTW Front gutter removed, cleaned and resealed (hopefully).

My blown air pipework has areas whwere it dips under and up again under the floor in certain areas like the front door etc. There is usually a pipe within a pipe, and where it goes in and out of the floor there is a plastic collar or elbow that is screwed to the plywood floor. Unscrewing it allows access to check if the blow-air is restricted for some reason. In mine, there was water trapped in a curved section that needed to be drained to fix the flow to the front.

Hi,
I`ve removed collar and it looks as though the damaged pipe simply pushes into another one under the floor. Can I simply give it the heave ho to get it out.
If so, I can then straighten damaged portion and reinforce with duct tape.

I would have a look under the van to see what the pipe looks like and how you might access it.

Good idea from nawer, it may well have deformed after it was hit by something so check for any damage. Then if it needs to come off you can get a better look at just how to do it.
