I have noticed stress cracks on the front and rear panels

Will this cause damp?

Is there anything I can do to repair them

May be worth using Captain Tolleys crack sealer.   You usually find crack originates from a screw through the ABS where the pilot hole was not big enough, if it even had one.

Clean/ degrease the cracks and fill with Sikeflex 522 (Amazon), this will seal the cracks and reduce risk of water penetration.
