Hi, I have a Sterling Belvoir dealer edition circa 2005 I think…she’s in fab condition but I have a problem with the extra plug socket in the locker at the front. Cannot get it to work, there is no off switch and I’ve looked at fuses and cannot spot the issue. She has all the bells and whistles expected with a dealer special and everything else works perfect. There is no water ingress at all. Anyone any ideas? Thank you!

is there a gas bottle in the front locker?

Hi, there’s a gas bottle in the main locker at the front. The socket is in a wet locker at the side.

Good that it's not in the gas locker, that's a definate no-no.

My guess is a bad connection somewhere, there shouldn't be much in the circuit to check with the power off and unplugged in the absence of a multimeter.

You may as well start at that socket and work back to where it gets it's supply from. Open the box and check all the wires are in the right places and tight at the back of the socket. If all is well, follow the cable back to the next connection and see if all is in order there.
