Hi folks,
I have a problem with my ego 0309 motormover. the unit powers up and the auto system check confirms the unit is fault free.
the battery is good and fully charger. I have power to the unit and the control unit lights up as it should do yet when a button is pressed the motors do not start, I have tried this even with the rollers disengaged from the wheels and still nothing.
any ideas please

Don't know your model of MM, and couldn't find anything on Google about it, EXCEPT a few references to a seemingly common fault on the Remote Handset!
If it's passing it's own self test routine on the control box, then that tends to indicate remote control issues, now that could simply be that the remote and the control box have lost their radio link paring, which can usually be restored by following some procedure in the user manual, OR the remote handset itself has gone faulty.
Can't really offer any more advice, as no knowledge whatsoever of the MM, the above suggestion is a universal fault finding diagnosis. Of course, always the bleeding obvious, is the battery in the remote OK? 'New' does not equate to OK, occasionally new batteries are duff! Try a different one.

thanks for the info gentlemen, I will do a new battery switch out again, I always use duracell and I shall try the repairing of the remote aand let you know how I get on

I have E-Go movers on my caravan and I have recently had to have the remote repaired as it stopped working. It sounds to me like you may have the same problem. I tried several different batteries as I buy them in bulk, but still it didn't work.
The company I used was remotefixer.co.uk They were very quick.

The repair to my remote cost £20 (fixed fee) plus postage, and I had it back with a full description of the problem within a week.

UPDATE
the auto spark says its the controller board. power going into it yet nothing getting to the motors.. when power placed across the motors they run fine. remote control is ok and works fine as it activates the relays.
bummer this will be expensive lol

That's bad luck.
It may not be too (much more!) wallet busting though, this company is offering fixed price repairs for £100 plus pp on some units. I've never used them so can't endorse them in any way, but I've heard of them before. May be worth finding out a little more about them to see if any good, and asking if they can fix your model.
May be other repairers out there if you can hunt them down, may be worth seeing if manufacturer themselves do a service exchange unit or repair service.

I had a right job finding any info on the unit until i found Purple line. they told me the e-go quattro will swap out the unit so purchased one with the remote for £250. should be here by weekend. I did look at that site Monty but they didnt list E-GO

Final update
Purple line over nighted the unit and it was an easy job to do.
it was all done within 30 minutes and I now have my mover working again
would recommend Purple Line uk to anyone
