I currently have a carver crystal 2 water pump (with matching inlet) which often struggles to seal properly on the inlet and squirts water out from behind the O ring. I know these can be temperamental and are somewhat outdated now so was considering updating it to the newer ultraflow type.

There is a Truma ultraflow compact conversion kit for around 30 quid on Amazon which I might get.
Can't find a video tutorial online that shows converting from crystal to ultraflow so has anyone here done it? Is it straight forward enough to do?

The truma is a direct replacement although it says not?, Only difference is mounting holes are slightly different centres but thats actually no bad thing.
But before spending money, check non return valve in pipe connection spigot moves freely? this can become stiff preventing it fully opening/closing so water pressure pushes back at pump connection or leaks back into aquaroll sometimes reducing pressure at taps
