Does anybody know what the yellow plastic items are on the underneath either side of the wheels? With a handle to release them. They look like large plastic cogs. Any ideas????

I totally agree as I don't think anyone will have much of a clue without seeing what the device looks like. I'm also puzzled myself and can't hazard a guess either as to what it might be.

Thanks for the picture. It looks like a caravan jacking system that was available about 25 years ago. You lower the snail cam so it touches the road and then move forward slowly so the caravan wheel is lifted high enough to change the wheel.

I have never heard of or seen them but I just wonder if the plastic got brittle with age hence their demise.
