Hi and welcome to the forum. Removing it may be fairly straight forward I would imagine, it's likely to be two sheets of thin ply on a wooden framework, look out for any wires of pipes, I don't know your van personally so I am generalising.

Quite a few vans are constructed in sections, they all vary, but be aware that some screws may have been put in from the outside and therefore hidden from you in the finished artical. You will need to locate them and cut them off if encountered.

Perhaps the bigger job may be fixing the reason for it getting damp, spongy and bubbling suggest this, and there is no point just replacing the wall, (which may add to the caravan's rigidity) until it is found and fixed. Good luck, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Dave.

I presume you mean the Internal lining, not a partition wall. There are lots of videos on doing it if you Google. Usually the job turns out be bigger as you progress as all wet and rotting timber needs replacing and sealing up the cause of the leaking.

Sorry for misinterpreting your original post, however glad the cause has been found and fixed. Lets hope the repair to the wall needs minimal work to be done, although time consiming it isn't a difficult job unless access is restricted.

Dave.

There aren't many jobs on a caravan that someone on here has successfully done already. Traditional caravan bodywork is not rocket science or terribly expensive iF you are willing to do the jobs yourself plus the results are often very rewarding. It's the first step in the destruction that is the scariest.
