looking for awning repair sepcialits to fit steel eyelets to my awning as near lanarkshire as possible

I don't know if they will work in your particular case but you can buy kits to do it yourself. Very simple to use.
Just search for "Eyelet Kits" and you will get a good selection.

If you search for 'Eyelet Punch Tool Die Set' or 'Tarpaulin Repair Kit' you will find numerous brass eyelets with the tools required to do the job. Just make sure that you obtain the correct diameter for the application though as they come in different sizes. It's a simple task as I put brass eyelets in my wheel arch cover to accommodate the rubber suction hooks to hang it on above the wheel arch.
