I have damaged the cargo door on my Bailey Pageant Bretagne. The door will jam shut and caravan is usable, but I would like to repair cargo door to its original use. Is this fixable or is there somewhere I can obtain a replacement?
Possibly the only place you would get a replacement is a breakers, and I think you would need to be very, very lucky.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I too would be looking to have the original repaired, it souold be straight forward enough. A coach body repair shop will be your best bet, they are well versed in repairing bent aluminium and the dent in the door can be filled and painted. I'm sorry to say that I too had an arguement with a post on the bottom half of the entrance door on my Pageant, I managed to do it myself.

Not in my particular case thankfully, I do have a tiny little nick out of the door edge but I can live with that. My thoughts are that it will need a bit of heat to soften the metal but perhaps some kind soul who knows about such things, (the knowledge base on this forum is increadible) will advise??
I would also think that some kind of sheild can be used between the aluminium trim and the paintwork.
