First trip out this year. Water heater lights, stays on for around five minutes then goes 'POP' and the little red gas indicator light comes on.
Turn off, wait a minute and turn back on, lights again straight away.

I have...
Swopped gas bottles and regulators.
Taken burner off and cleaned it although not dirty, it's only about three years old.
Taken out gas jet and cleaned it although it wasn't blocked and looks perfectly clear.
Carefully reassembled everything and it's still doing it.
Fridge and hob work perfectly.
Any ideas?

you have remembered to remove the cover on the outside for it???? easy mistake to make

I've not been able to try it on EHU but don't believe the gas and 230v systems are connected at all. It has 12v for the gas control system and gas so should be working?

well the red light indicates you have no gas.

you are best contacting Arc systems nr nottingham (via google) gary is the man you need to speak to

Thanks for your help. I've tried googling Arc Systems and found arcsystems.biz which reading some of these posts seems to be his website but I only get an error message when trying to view his site. Do you know if he is still offering repairs?

Only asking because our old Carver Cascade in the previous MH did work fine on the hook-up, but didn’t work on the gas. Our habitation service engineer found out what the problem was, but the replacement part was no longer available. (So we stayed on sites with EHU or boiled a kettle for hot water if we were off grid.)
Yes - Arc systems has been on here very recently.
