How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
If you remove any locating screws you could run a thin blade or thin bit of plastic carefully around the edge to cut the mastic. Then carefully pull it away.

Electrolux owned the Dometic brand name for sales in USA, then about 20 odd years ago they rebranded all leisure products globally as Dometic, and sold the business off. So in effect Electrolux and Dometic were one and the same company around the time your van was built!
These things change remarkably little over the years, chances are there is still a grill on the market that will fit!
Your grill is knocking on 25 years old and been exposed to UV degradation, so I would expect it to be as brittle as hell, handle with kid gloves and flex and strain as little as possible if you hope to reuse.
You could try a little bit of heat on the effected area with a hair dryer, it often helps loosen things like this up and makes the plastic less prone to cracking.

Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for a whole weekend.
Did you check out the Dometic ones in the link I posted?
------------- XVI yes?
