Hi All, the cold water will only flow in my vanity sink if the water is also on in the Kitchen sink. The tap "clicks" when turned on or off. I am assuming the microswitch may have broken but I cant find how to access it, is it easier to replace the tap. I have a 2000 Hobby prestige 650.Photo of said tap

It's doubtfull that both mictroswitches in both taps have failed at exactly the same time. I would look very carefully at the cold feed pipe from input to the first tap, there may be a kink, blockage, or even an in-line tap that has inadvertantly been knocked off.

Failing that, it it a microswitched tap? look underneath to see if wires are dangling down. If so, you could temporalily bridge the apprpriate wires and see if the pump runs.

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply.
The water runs out of the cold water vanity tap when turned on if the kitchen tap is also turned on but nothing flows and the pump isn't activated when the kitchen tap is off yet I still get water from the shower. The vanity tap did work as it should when I first got the van. There seems to be blue wires to the vanity tap which is why I thought it might be the microswitch. I'm afraid I don't understand how to bridge the wires to test the tap/system ? I can't test if the same applies to the hot water as this is still work in progress!
Thankyou for your help
regards
Penny

Hi Penny, only too pleased to offer some assistance.
You have answered a couple of questions with your answer, you DO have microswitches, not a pressure system and I think that switch is faulty. As to how you gain access to said switch, I don't honestly know but it is likely that you will have to remove the tap assembly from it's mountings and inspect inside it. With it out it may well become apparent how they are fixed into the unit. Replacement switches will be loads cheaper than a whole new tap assembly so lets go with the removal and inspection.

Dave.
