Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my carver cascade 2 water heater, I was having some problems with my water heater and took it for repair to a local ish caravan centre, on collection the repair technician informed me that he had removed the control box situated under the seat, the heater then lit for one journey, then stopped after that when I took the van out a few months later, my question concerns the black box under the heater ( see photo ) on a recent visit to the van I noticed that there is what look like 4 pins on the inside edge of the black box and there is a loose lead with a 4 pin female plug that comes in just in front of the heater, I am not sure if the loose lead is supposed to be plugged into the pins on the black box or just left over when the guy removed the control box i have a blurry picture of the pins on the black box ( best i could get ) unfortunately not of the loose lead and caravan is 30 miles away in storage, tia for any help given regards Bryan
If the 4 pin plug is carvers own colours then it will be red-yellow-white-green as you look at it from where you took the picture, in that case it goes to those four pins as they also show in the picture with red closest to you (by the alternate round din plug connectors socket)
If any others colours, then front edge of plug has a raised claw on one long edge, this claw always faces up when plugging in
