Hi there. I am hoping some one out there can offer some advice with regards to the water supply in our caravan. When the water pump is on, it constantly pumps water through the system. I have tried adjusting rhe pressure switch I have even tried with a brand new pump and hose and the same thing is happening - constant flow of water which is then just flowing out the pipes at the back of the caravan. The van has a truma water inlet with which I am using a compatible whale watermaster pump. Can anyone help? I am assuming that there is no issue with the pump itself as the water is being pumped through. Would a new truma water inlet be through answer? Does anyone have an advice? Thank you!!
If water is flowing through the system and coming out somewhere the pressure switch will never shut off no matter what you do with it. When you say "flowing out the pipes at the back of the caravan", which pipes do you mean. There shouldn't be any open pipes at the back of the caravan, or anywhere else, except possibly the waste pipes from the shower, wash basin or sink.
Are the water dump valves closed?
Thats the valves you open to dump the water from the inboard tank for travelling, winter storage etc.etc.
Look where the water heater is, there should be two dump valves. up is usually open down is usually shut..
