2010 Swift Alpine 2 caravan with Truma S3002 with Ultraheat .Last night switched on the fan on my heater for blown air and turned the wall mounted ultra heat dial expecting the green light to come on. No green light and no warm air, just cold blown air. Checked power coming in , 12v and 240v all switches and fuses on Sargent control unit. All seems fine. Tried again a short time later and everything worked fine until I switched it off by turning dial to O. Today no life from it again. Fan blows cold air and no green light. Advice please.
Hi, and welcome to the forum. A pretty common fault from equipment of the era, mine included.
No green LED light means no low control voltage from the transformer on the often hard to get at relay control board behind the fire. It couldb be a dry joint as they are susceptable, however, they often bulge at the top when they go.
Replacement PCBs are available, at a price, but luckily so are new transformers and relays (probably a good idea to swap them for new 16Amp ones whilst you're at it).

Click on this link to see a supplier of all the parts needed as a kit, even desolder wick to assist with removal of the original components, plus an instructional video on how to do it. Less than twenty quid for the lot.
