I have a Bailey senator caravan from 2008 which has the walk in type shower. All the shower pipe work is concealed in a plastic corner ducting that goes all the way from the ceiling to the shower tray. I need to remove the front part of this ducting to replace the shower valve - but I can’t figure out how to get it off. Does anyone have any tips as to how to remove it without damaging anything else, or does it need a special tool?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
No, I will have to buy a new one, it’s such a waste. I will probably try to sell some of the working parts on eBay but purple line really should be able to supply parts for their units.
I have a 2009 Bailey Pageant which used the Senator box as it was the last model before Alutech came in. Are you sure that you need to replace the entire shower fitting as I had a problem with mine the first spring we had it, the internals froze and smashed the valve in the cartridge. All I had to do was open the unit by removing a little allen screw in the back of the tap handle and unscrew the top of the unit to replace the internal cartridge similar to this one Note others are available from eBay etc at a lower price, they are pretty gineric now.
