A friend is storing our 2011 Coachman Highlander 450/2 van, and he's hooked it up to power to trickle charge the battery.
My question is how much would the daily consumption of power be to trickle charge the battery?
He's a close friend but I wouldn't want to under-pay him for his kindness.

as it would only be on a trickle charge then it only needs to have power going to it for maybe 2 hrs a week, try using a timer plug. £5 a month would be more than generous for what it is actually taking

If 110 Amphour and it loses 25% of charge in a month it would be:-

27.5 AH x 12 volts = 330 watts per charge. So say 3 charges for 1 kWHr which is 1 unit.

Thanks at marg6 that was my gut feeling, but then I began to have doubts, hence the reason for the question.

Thanks navver for the calculation, so it would seem that the fiver suggested by marg6 is sufficient.
