Hi all we have a elldis sunseeker. But our big sky light about the kitchen area I think the gas struts have gone. I can open the vent but have to rest the bar to have it open. It's doesn't open fully like I've seen others do. Does anyone know what I I need to buy and are these easily replaced. Many thanks chez

They are available on the likes of eBay for not to much money.
The rating required is generally shown on the body of the strut.
Fitting is fairly straightforward if you take your time.

If you can't get a match email them for help.

I replaced the struts on my skylight last year. You can get struts on ebay very cheaply the problem I found is that the ends were bigger inside diameter to the originals so I made a couple of bushes out a bit of plastic pipe to take up the slack. Easy job.
