As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Very secretive, only know what the dealers tell you. Manufacturers never state what they pay. If the repairer says that the hourly rate is not enough for them to do it,then you have the choice if you want to subsidise it .Other option if no one would do the work then return it to factory. Personally I have had very little claims over the years, but my dealer White Arches who I have dealt with for 50years has always done work with no quibble.

I think it fairly well known that warranty work does not pay as well as standard jobs. However in your situation where Coachman may have to employ a third party repairer I suspect it could well be standard rate otherwise a company unconnected with the sale of the van might not be prepared to undertake the work. I have to say that having purchased four new caravans none of them needed much if anything in the way of warranty work. The motorhomes were a bit different and both did need warranty work. All work was carried out by White Arches to my satisfaction.
Thanks David. I tried White Arches who unsurprisingly won't do it. An independent person has come back to me and told me that Coachman pay £25 per hour. He would want £45 + vat. He can't do it anyway, not an approved workshop. Nene Court are going to do it, hopefully.
