Hi all on our recent trip away our new puppy tried to get through the fly screen breaking the bottom cord, anyone got any ideas on how to repair?

I can’t picture a cord, our fly screen slides across. Could you post a photo?

It is a Hartel door. The fly screen has a thin cord in 6 places from top to bottom horizontal for the tension sorry can't post a photo

I've seen IIRC quite detailed repair instructions posted on tinternet, on a forum similar to UKC, they were a copy of an article originally published in a Caravan/MH magazines a VERY long time ago! - May be worth Googling a bit to see if still to be found.

In the meantime, these came up, which may be of some use:

If nothing else, they prove that the flyscreens are repairable, if you can work out how, rather than a certain scrap and replace in their entirety solution!
