Unfortunately 'rot' in caravans is often like an Iceberg, the visible 10% you can see (staining and mould etc. on interior panels) is misleading on the 90% you cant see hiding! Proper inspection is required, that often means stripping panels!
As said, expanding foam risks 'jacking apart' inner and outer skins as it expands and exerts force, causing even more damage, especially if the structure has been weakened by rot!
