HELP needed I am newish new caravan I have had older vans where you just connect a whale water pump and luckly you have water. But I have brought a Lunar van and ther is no pump, when i looked there is only a male connection where yo push a pipe on no 12volt conecters and there is no book with they van if anyone knows i wold love your advice Thank you in advance I will get a pic of the conection plate and add it if that is possible.

Not familiar with the van, but could be an onboard water tank AND/OR pump, and that is just the pick up hose entry for a water butt/mains fill.

Any on board pump would likely be very near the water entry point, usually in locker under a front bench seat.

Hi and welcome to the forum. There are one or two different water connectors depending on the make of system. You need to determine whether it's a pump in the aquaroll outside (most common) and this needs a 12 volt connector in the plug to power the pump, or an inboard pump where you just need the connection and pipe/filter.

It may be Whale, Truma or another, look ate some of the pictures on line here, you can then browse other makes in the same 'water' section.

Thank you for you advice I've been told by a caravan place he will have to ordered now I'm going to try and get a manual for the operation of heating hot water and other things OHH the joys of Caravanning
