This was posted by Gary ( Arc systems ) and when i used the formula for my caravan it was spot on .

Add all the tyres maximum weights together and divide a single tyres maximum pressure by this total weight figure. Next multiply the answer by your vans weight and this will give you a very accurate single tyres pressure. My van supposedly weighs 1170 all up, its on two 8 ply tyres which carry a maximum 1460kg between them at 65psi
65 divided by 1460 = 0.0445,
times 0.0445 by 1170 = 52psi

Note it states the maximum load ( weights ) and maximum psi on the side wall of the tyre .
