What I would like to know is. What safety back up do camp sites have to supply, because all the purpus built electrical equipment has its RCD's and MCB at the socket end of the cable, so the most likley part that would get damaged (ie the Cable) is not protected.

the camp site supply will also have RCD and mcb protected cicuit to the socket that you plug into, they would be breaking regulations if not.

hi welcome to ukcs richard17most club sites are tested to the highest standards.i also think they are checked each year.we have been on odd sites (not club) where this is not the case.17
