I always get a fully serviced pitch if available, great when having showers not to think about filling the aquaroll.

We use the aquaroll conversion kit rather than connect the water directly to the van. Some of the site pressures can be high. If there was a problem, using the aquroll water pump out should stop potemtial flooding in the van.

We only use super pitches at the site we are going to this weekend as they all appear to be fully serviced pitches.Never use them normally as the kids tend to want to fill up and empty aquaroll and waste .I would have thought if you had a van and used shower etc it would be easier than keep on having to fill aquaroll.

My one brush with a warden not only involved the cable but also the water pipe 

I have modified this and previous caravans so that the pump inlet fills a tank and then an inboard pump services the taps.

On this occasion I had not used the pressure reducer as there is no need for one when the tank just overflows when full.

I was informed that I was going to ruin my water system .

When I tried most deferentially to explain that the site tap was turned off and that it was not connected to the taps in the van I was told that the warden was not prepared to argue.

So now when on super pitches I use the pressure reducer and uncoil all my cable immediately and thus enjoy an aggro free stay 

This avoids the need to over react and reply in the manner to which one was addressed so rudely in the first place.
