Can anyone offer me some advice regarding awning heaters?
Seen one in argos, it's only £8.95 but it's 2Kw, would i be able to run this and if so would i be able to run anything else on it such as a laptop charger or tv?
Am i correct in thinking this would require at least a 10amp feed?

Any info would be appreciated.

p.s. i did a search for awning heaters but i couldn't find anything.

We use a Gas table Top Patio heater in our awning you only need it on for 1/2 an hour really good heats up very well, £40 from argos.

in our local £streacher they have an 800wt two element halogen heater that is brilliant value at £7

you need to shop around for the bargains, make sure that the unit you buy has the safety cutout switch on the base in case the unit gets nocked over.

Hi we use a halogen heater for our awning they  are great you do need a light on as they are bright like you say they knock off if they fall over a bit to bright for in side the caravan ...........

We too have a halogen heater. great for evenings in, in the awning BUT no good if anyone is sleeping in the awning and needing night heat.

Our kids have nicknamed ours 'The blinded by the light!!' Lol

im looking in to buying a halogen heater as they look so cozy in other peoples awnings very bright but one prob my hubby sleeps in the annex and we need it on all night dont think he would get much sleep though lol

Hi all , just bought one of those halogen heaters from £ streacher , the one i got ( only one i could find ) is not a 800watt , but a 1050watt , with 3 heat settings ( 350watts each ) and it oscillates as well , it also has a safety tip-over switch , bargain at £12 , will be nice to have some heat in the awning as were away this weekend .
