Hi d00dle,

Most 212 series fridges have their gas pilot light  at the bottom left rear of the fridge, viewed for lighting through a  window in the bottom left back corner of the food compartment. On has to get the line of sight jut right to see the flame but once seen not forgotten

For service purposes the fridge has to be removed form its compartment but before you can do that the exhaust chimney has to be removed from out side the van.

My van has two air grills behind the fridge which also alow some limited access to the rear of the fridge and these are located to the side of the chimney outlet.

Also if you cannot get the pilot to light check to see if you have a gas valve in the line to the fridge, usually in an adjacent locker, and that this is turned on.

Hope this helps.

Why is there always something just where I can bang my head on it?
