hi phone o'leary's ask about   adhesive for my wallpanel .

they have told me to use    102 polyer  adhesive price £3.50 a tube.

this is stronger than Soudal Carbond 940 FC .

thx for your help hope to fix the caravan  ready for summer thx

POLYSEAL ECO 102
hybrid polymer adhesive sealant.
 
APPLICATIONS.
polyseal eco 102 is a paintable isocyanate,
solvent and silicone free premuim hybrid adhesive sealant that has been specifically formulated to have excellent adhesion characteristics when used to bond typical substrates found in caravan,mass transportation and other manufacturing applications.
 
STORAGE
min 5c max 25 c
 
DIRECTION OF USE
all surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease and loose particles.
to insure maximum adhesion use polyseal eco pre-cleaner tp prepare the substrate prior to the application.
DONT NOT USE IN CONTACT WITH SURFACES BLEEDING OIL,PLASTICSERS OR SOLVENTS.

Hi,

Just a thought here.

If this van was in reasonable nick, it would be worth (guess) £700.

If it takes a minimum (again a guess) of 200 hours to fix and you spent another £200 on materials you would certainly be better off spening those 200 hours behind a check out at B&Q (my own retirement plan!) and buying a van that didn't need so much work.

If on the other hand you want the challenge and no doubt the great satisfaction of doing the job yourself then of course go for it.

I think the problem is if you scrimp and save to get yourself a better caravan, or car for that matter, who is to say what the hidden condition is like?

you could end up paying more for the same condition
