We`ve also just bought a brand new Elddis Crusader  Ordered it on Sunday. Sorry to hear you`ve had trouble. I`ve heard in general them to be quite good vans.

We had some damp in our Elddis Jetstream, as long as you tackle it from the beginning and don't just leave it you should be able to sell it on.

We bought our caravan cheap, as it had been in an accident and my partner is lucky enough to have the time to fix it.

He is replacing the whole of the front of the caravan, and whilst doing this found damp around the window frames.  It's a big job but when it's finished it will look lovely, and will be worth a lot more than what we paid for it.

Oooh, this is worrying coz we got a brand new Elddis Riviera 505 in July!

Did find a few things that needed sorting and it's going in the caravan hospital, (workshop), on the 17th to get sorted. The upholstery problem has already been dispatched to Elddis for that to get done, (large lengths of one of the front seat/bed cushions hadn't been caught properly with the stitching machine.

Other probs we found were the omnivent thingy kept sticking and the only way to open it would occasionaly be to tighten it even more to be able to release it, one of the low voltage type lights kept falling out over the sink/cooker area, the door stay for the rear bedroom sliding doors came off and there wasn't a wide bit on the last bit of the awning runner so we couldn't get the awning skirt on. I just stopped hubby taking to it with a screwdriver to try and widen it, reminding him that it was under warranty so that should get it done! Phew, could have been disastrous that...him plus screwdriver!

Apart from that we were very pleased with it, although we never used the shower, (and probably never will, no need these days unless staying at a liccle CL site or out in the wilds), so don't know if this would have caused any probs. Maybe we should just give the shower a go, to make sure all's well, but think I'd rather leave well alone.

I'm really hoping your Elddis problems are so-o-o-o-o-o rare that nobody else has, (or will have), experienced them......fingers crossed

Had friends who had quite few teething problems with a brand new crusader.  Most niggly bits and pieces but annoying at the time.  Have now changed it only cos they wanted a smaller van.
