my leisure battery has a cloured " telltale" green for good red for charging required.well to my prob. i have charged the battery it is gassing (as to fully charged) but the light is still showing red.the battery is one season old (hardly used) whats your thoughts .is the battery going duff on me. does this mean it will not hold charge or is the telltale not working regards  ken

Hi ken , i would check the fluid levels if possible and also make sure you have had the battery on charge for long enough 12 hours should do , if it's then still showing red take it back to the shop .
