Hi & help yet again please

The washbasin & shower taps in the Swift have this 'KELLER' ? badge on them. I cannot find a reference to them; which seems odd as they are on a very popular, if ancient, caravan.

I am trying to reach the microswitch (what else), but it doesn't seem that the top comes off? --- so maybe all the panelling below has to be removed?

Many thxs.

Richard

(Why couldn't they be like the kitchen taps -- pull off the top & there is the switch  -- Grrr)

Thxs Michael, but it was the first place I looked as I have it bookmarked. Unfortunately this 'make' does not appear to be on there.

Thxs for the response

Richard

Hi Lady Sarah.

We had a Keller tap on the Bathroom basin of our Avondale Landranger (1997) which stopped working).  It was a beige plastic item with mixer spout that swivelled down cos of the fold worktop/cover.  The tap was pressure switched (not micro-switched) but it stopped working.  I did some reseach seeking a replacement and was advised by Avondale and others that no longer available.  I replaced it with a Reich tap (this has a micro-switch but I don't use it).  The Reich website is very informative with measurements, etc.

www1.reich-web.com/index.html

Reich don't, however, supply direct although they were very helpful with phone advice.  I actually bought the tap from Harringtons, Delamere, Cheshire.  I did not find it quite so easy to buy the exact model I wanted, that's why I have a micro-switched model  - I, also had to use reducers to get the pipe conncections right too. The exact model (ie no microswitch and right connections) I needed was available in theory but I could not find a supplier although I looked extensively.

Hope this helps.  Incidentally the Reich tap is much better quality than the Keller it replaced.

Feel free to ask if I can be of any more help.

Regards

Tim
