Glad to help, makes a change from asking for help.  A further suggestion -from the photo it looks as though you could hinge the bottom section of the door separately and it would open wide enough to get your feet through.  This way you would still be able to open both sections and not have to step in.

Can you tell me if there is any way of telling who's on the site at any time?

No, unfortunately i don't think this forum has that information, but a lot of similar chat forums do....The only problem with that system is that it would mean all users have to log-in everytime they come to the site.....  it is a nice idea in my opinion.... maybe the admin staff will look into it?
