HI Guys

Me again in need of some good advice or anything that might help us get on the rd for Mon.

We have got a different car with towbar and all, Wenever checked to see that all was working till last min. Well we have no brake lights or indicator lights coming on but when we put on our light for the car we will get the main caravan front and rear lights.

Puzzled or what. Hubby reckons it might be the wiring. Our car is a Renault Espace 1994.

Any info would be great as we need to get this sorted for Mon, my hubby is great at fixing cars but he's not to sure when it comes to electrics.

Thanks guys

Tracy

Sounds like the wiring is wrong in the socket.  Have a look at this link - it's the 12N socket wiring you want to look at.

Hope this helps.

Sandy.

I would also have a good look at the connections in the light clusters.  I had a problem in a previous van where the rear lights didn't work, when I took the bulbs out they were all corroded plus the contacts.  Cleaned them up with emery paper and bent the contacts to make sure all was making a good contact.

-------------
I do the towing so it must be my turn to wash the van and clean the inside!!!
