These are the most simple fire to operate but first you must get under the van and check the two steel gas pipes that come down from the gas control valve. There is one thick and one thin pipe and both happily rot away under the van to the point they will leak gas. Clean them up and then give them a scrape with a sharp knife and if you cannot scratch a clean line through the rust then they must be replaced. Pay particular attention to the inside of the tight bend in the thin pipe where it turns into the burner box, any 'pitting' here and again it must be replaced.

Roughly 133 grams per hour on maximum giving 1.6kw output on Butane and 130g/h on Propane giving 1.5kw output.

Butane at 28-30mb and Propane at 37mb

Bye the way the names...

Don't suppose you could give me some idea of how much this would cost? I just took a look at the steel pipes under my van and they are very rusty. Would I be looking at a complete replacement of the heater or just the steel pipes? I'm in Lincoln, do you know of anyone in the Lincoln area who could do the job?

Thanks very much.

Luke
