We have 2 problems :-

1) Hot water system - Carver 2 system , Can hear the starter sequence (click, click, click) but thats all, eventually the orange light comes on (low voltage according to the manual) but does this when on mains hook up(& tried a known good battery). We get a water flow ok,just its only cold. I suspect an electrical fault as the control unit "buzzed" when I altered the air heater fan (is it a dodgy earth ,as battery charging light is always illuminated on the control panel?)

2) Cold water system - The pump runs but nothing comes out of the taps, tried to alter the pressure switch but no change (pressure switch u/s ,or pump?).

Problem 1 happened before problem 2 (ie last trip, hence good battery this time-initial theory)

Problem 2 could be the micro switch in the tap, we had that problem, if we ran the bathroom tap it came out of the kitchen one, back at the dealers now getting sorted.

I may be stating the obvious. Is the hot water system you are using gas? if so have you taken the cover off the outside vent, as this will cause it to click for ignition then shut off.

As for the water close all taps except one, then while the pump is running try sucking the tap. Seems a bit drastic but once it is primed it may start working, also you should be able to tell if you are sucking air or if there is any pressure there from the water.

Yes its gas but we haven't touched the outside vent.

Problem 2 occured on the second evening of this trip, was working fine up until then, the tank didn't go dry so I don't think it's an air lock, will give it a try though.

Sorry I should have explained better, If there is a cover on your vent then it needs to be taken off, this is only a protector cover for the system while it's not in use, If you dont remove the cover it will cause the system to shut down after a few seconds.
