) we knew it would need work, new seat covers curtains a lick of paint etc but we were wrong it was terrible, the ceiling was a bubble where it was full of water the walls were soggy and the crossbars were rotten. at this point we had already booked our holiday (we were originally taking a tent) and we were determoned it would not beat us and we only had 10 weeks to put it all right
BUT WE DID IT... we first sealed ervery are on the outside and then started taking the inside to bits, we replaced every wall that needed it and we managed to completely dry out the ceiling, hubby rebuilt the seats and i mad new curtains and seat covers, we then repainted the van and laid new lino, we had the gas checked and the old mantles taken out and electric put right through. we finished the van with a couple of days to spare so enouh time to pak and be on our way. we were so proud of our van it was a wonderful holiday especially when we got back i found i was pregnant with our first child. we have since upgraded our van but will never forget the first van we had.
