I don't know of a way to tell but the freezer box bit will soon get icy feel to it, thats' how I always check.

Hi there,

The simple answer is no, caravan fridges have no light or anything to let you know that they are working ok, also they are very quiet and rarely vibrate so 'feeling' to see if they are on is pointless too...basically plug in your EHU, turn the fridge onto 240v and upto max, and within an hour, maybe 2...the freezer box should be nice and icy.

Hope that helps.
