Well done Ziggar - what a difference you've made for not a lot of money!  I'm sure it was a huge effort but you've clearly wanted to make a good job of it.

I'm going to show your renovation to my OH and hope that I can persuade him that we can do the same with our ABI Tristar - we've got / had damp in quite a few places.  The loo / showerroom is the only place we can feel condensation on the outside wall (and no, not because we've used the shower!) but we've found evidence maybe of dry rot elsewhere.[:o)]

The part we're really dreading is behind the kitchen unit at one of the rear corners - it's going to be very difficult to get into that corner - I forsee much cursing and bruising as OH tries to wriggle into a cupboard that he's just too big to get into!  [:o)]

Wish us luck!!

I found that the easiest way is to simply remove anything thats even slightly in the way of your working
if you have to keep stepping over or under or around something then that takes time
they also seem to get in the way when you least need them in the way
its far quicker and easier to remove anything that may hinder you than to work around it

if you cant remove something then may i suggest http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fictional_curse_words for some suggestions as to what to shout at the neighbours
because after all
its all their fault

Good Luck in your renovations/repairs

i think we all need it
