We've just got back from our first two nights away trying out our new van before we go on holiday. We managed to sort everything but we have a switch we don't understand, which appears to be something to do with the heater.

There is the small square panel on the wall with the thermostat one and tells you what the fan is on - gas high, low, just fan, electricity high, low - and beside that there is a switch which is something to do with the heater, I think for running the fan on electricity rather than gas.  However, there is another one the same down on the front of the settee directly below and we can't work out what that's for - it's not mentioned in the handbook.

Can anyone throw any light of this for me please?

Could it be for the Fridge?

We have 3

One for the heater-on wall by panel

One for the fridge-base of front bench seat

One for the water heater-base of rear seat

I would say it's for the hot water to run on electric.

That's what we thought but we're a bit confused about why there are two - and neither of them are mentioned in the hand book.

We've got all the paperwork - Carver user instructions as well as the Swift handbook. None of them mention either of these switches.

The water heater switch is in the main control panel. Unfortunately I can't put any photos in my gallery because we haven't got the van at home and I never thought to take any while we were in it.
