hi all could anyone please help me out,my old selmar 12v 4 amp battery charger has given up, so i went out and got a challenge 8 amp with trickle and fast charge from argos.but looking at the book again there is a challenge 11 amp and it says for leisure batterys.my battery is a 110 amp so have i got the wrong charger plus is it best to trickle charge or fast charge.

8amp or 11amp is ok but the 8amp will just take a bit longer to charge.  However, if you can change the 8amp charger for an 11amp one that would be much better.

It is definitely better to trickle charge than fast charge.  Trickle charge is normally between 14-18 hours.
