We have a water filter which we forgot to take off last winter, consequently when we put water in the caravan this year we flooded under the under the sink as the filter had burst, my husband couldn't get the filter off (why can't they make the cupboards under the sink wider) and we had to send for a caravan repair man, we had already bought the new filter so he fitted it but said that if it was his van he would remove it totally the next time it needs a new one and replace it with a length of rigid pipe between the two connectors, as we never drink the water from the tap we dont need it filtered, so this seems like a good idea. Has anyone else done this.
