Hi Jeff, wecome to the site from another Dealite, am not familiar with your charging system but if you draw a blank I'd be inclined to bridge them out and install inline fuses, providing you know the rating it's same difference. You asked a question about storage on a previous post, try Stephen Solley at Ripple, local number 374100. It's the ice cream factory that used to be a farm. Mines out there and only 5 minutes from home. Its £250 a year, but we will live in the expensive south east. If can help in any way be glad to, just call round, the blue house at the bottom of Wilson with all the radio antennas sticking up. Another storage site, Sandwich road just past Cottington Lakes, farm on right can't remember the name but think it might be Court Lodge. Hope this is of some help......Mick

While a new fuse holder is going to be a lot cheaper than a new charger, there is reason behind the advice.

The fact is your old Symphony with a maximum 4amps at a nominal 12 volts output makes it next to useless. A more modern switch mode charger will have  10 or 12 amps on tap at a constant 13.8 volts and therefore not even require a battery to run all your 12 volt needs. However it will also easily keep a battery charged and you will never see that red light again!!

Anyway if you can post or email a picture of the old fuse holder I will see if I can match it up or try Maplin Electronics or RS components for a close match.
