Does anyone know where you can get a list of service stations that lets you stop overnight

my daughter just put motorway services in on a search engine it threw up loads

I asked a question like this a couple of days ago - basically what we did was look on our navigation system and found a couple of motorway service names, i.e. Exeter Services, rung directory enquires and got the number. Then we rang the service area reception and asked if they have a dedicated rest area, normally no charge for up to 2 hours and a maximum charge of £12.00 for 24 hrs - not sure why you would want to stay in a services for 24 Hrs.

For info - the chain of services on the M5 are Moto

All the services on the M5 allow caravans to spend the night there, they use the lorry park & from what I've seen it's very very popular. I wouldn't worry about the fact you're in the lorry park, the drivers all want a nights sleep the same as you do & they're a friendly bunch in the most part (I'm one of them) If you do go into one, I'd suggest you pick a spot well out of the way if you're in any doubts but as I said earlier, they get very busy indeed.

One strong benefit I see is that you'll have toilet facilities & fuel on tap as well as being around other people. Far less vulnerable.

 There are lots of labys around on the roads running beside the M5 too but I'm not up to speed with how you stand just parking in one of them for the night.

If you can get your hands on the BIG site book from the C&CC it has listing for service areas which allow overnight caravan parking.

Hi Robin 54 from Robin52. I personally would find a nearby site as well. Wouldnt really be happy in a service or layby.

There must be CL's or a club site near the motorway. Can't understand why anyone would want to stop on these overpriced filthy dumps!

We had this question just a couple of weeks ago, why would anyone want to stay overnight in an area used as a toilet by some lorry drivers?

Thanks to you all still don't know what we will do
