Please can anyone give us some advice...we brought an ABI Mauarder in May and everything was fine and dandy....then last weekend it rained and we discovered we have a very leaky front window.  We have tried to seal the leak but having checked today it seems we have failed.  Above and below the window is damp again.  Other than this is van is in excellent condition and we didnt see any signs of damp when we brought it but have spotted a dark patch (about 1" square) in the front corner under the seat.  Should we consider getting it professionally repaired and is this expensive or should we cut our losses???  its our first caravan so we are new to all this...please help

Hi Robbo, firstly welcome to UKCS. You`ve definately come to the right place for advice regarding your leak. It sounds that the seal may need to be redone to the front window. If you click on the link Al Parker`s window reseal it will tell you how to reseal the window. I too was in the same situation as you and didn`t know what to do. But I found this site and the help and advice from guys like Al and Wizard inspired me to do them repair myself. And I`m glad I did as I am pretty happy with the out come. Any more problems then just ask and someone will be along to help.

P.S If you go onto my site you will get links for other UKCS members that have done their own repairs.
