We live in St Helens. I recently used John of Caravancare Ltd, Warrington.

I recommend him VERY HIGHLY - he was friendly, competent and reasonably priced. He is NCC registered too so can maintain makers' warranties. He did a number of extra jobs and did not charge for all of them. I had, also, booked him to give my 'van fridge a full service but when he checked the flue he said that a service was not needed as it appeared it had had little use on gas.
I had, also, asked him to fit a new jockey wheel and he returned to do this when I was out. He unfortunately fitted the wrong one, I wanted the Alko with built-in noseweight guage, but returned without ANY quibbles to change the j/w.
Immediately before we were due to go away on our hols I had a concern about the motor mover. Powrtouch were unable to send an engineer before we left but John came out the same day. There was not really any problem and he refused to take any payment.
I'm, unfortunately, NOT on commission from John.
He does tend to be very busy.
