Hi Folks
Its a month since checking up on our van and we went today and noticed two 6" patches of condensation in between the panes on the two small front windows. If this had happened on our home pvc windows I would have said the seals had gone on the glazed units but is this normal on a caravan window?.
The van is less than a year old and already had the front main window changed as it started parting at the seam but I`m not sure if they have to be air tight like conventional double glazed windows. Is it yet another trip back to the dealer or something not to worry about?.
Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve

Have you tried pulling out the little plastic bungs out? These should help to clear any condensation and can be replaced once it's all gone.

hi our caravan does the same, mist up in the sunshine, not to worry on that score.they are not air tight anyway.BUT parting at the seam does not sound to good.ring your dealer and see what they say about it.[:o)]

Thanks for the replies.Got me thinking now Halfpiste can`t remember where the plastic plugs are, must have em somewhere, will have to pop back and have a look;-).
Michael it was the front main window which started coming apart at the bottom and needed changing. The small windows seem fine as regards splitting, I was just worried that the condensation meant something more serious. Ruddy new vans eh! who`d av em.
Regards
Steve
