Hi can any one shine some light on a problem we have with our electrics in the caravan its a avondale perle

The plugs work but the lights wont?

We cant seem to find what is wrong with it

any suggestions

The plugs are mains  ,  the battery runs the lights

The battery seems to be charging but the lights still dont work 

 typing in candle light is so relaxing but would perfer proper lights

Hi Blusher_84 Welcome to UKCS .
My 12volt fluorescent lights wouldn't work when the battery voltage was a bit low .
Use a 12volt tester ( looks like a pen with a sharp point and has a light in it ) and work your way through the 12volt wiring , start at the battery .

The Bailey Senator has 2 fuses for the 12V lighting (about 20 of them !) and they are both the blue 15 amp

They are taking quite a load---one of mine hadn't blown but the plastic on the fuse had melted and the relay had died !!

 WE HAVE NOW FIXED THE PROBLEM

A WIRE CAME OUT OF THE  SQUARE BOX UNDER THE CARAVAN  IT HAD GONE RUSTY

Now its repaired and we have lights again

 JUST ASKED HUBBY EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS

IT WAS A WIRE THAT GOES UP TO THE ZIG PANEL IN BETWEEN THE CHARGING UNIT AND THE ZIG PANEL 

IT  RUN'S UNDER THE CARAVAN

SHAME WE ARE GOING HOME TOMMORROW

NEVER SLEPT IN IT  ONCE

HUBBY HAPPY  THOUGH  AS  HE  PERFER'S SLEEPING IN THE CAMPERVAN
