I'm helping a friend repair his awning rail on his caravan.  The screws are badly rusted and have had to drill the heads off. 

What size screws are commonly used in a repair?   I'm going to get stainless steel screws if someone can advise me on size!

Hi Andy+Rach , welcome to UKCS , i'd recommend Sikaflex 512 Caravan ( tube mastic ) and W4 roll mastic , both can be found at good caravan shops or online Here and Here . The screws i used were stainless made by Spax , 3,5mm x 30mm long , bought from B&Q .
