Having spent the last 24 hours having a very frustrating and unproductive email discussion with Blacks customer care team I have come on here hoping to get some useful advice!

The connector on the top fixed part of my Berghaus air tent pump has broken making it very difficult to use (photo below). I have managed to use the pump to inflate my tent (Berghaus Air4) by taping the connector but this is not very successful. I was hoping to be able to get a replacement part for the pump but this doesn’t seem to exist. I would buy the replacement Eurohike air tent pump but am unable to find this available online anywhere nor in a store local to me.

Can anyone please help me by suggesting where I can buy a replacement pump or a suitable alternative so I can continue to use my tent?

I think that's just a standard connector, it's the bit at the tent end that's specific. Try Decathlon.

Well, not all pumps are the same/standard, just looked at my Kampa pump (came with my air awning), that's got a threaded outlet rather than a bayonet fitting.

Live and learn. My Decathlon pump is a bayonet fitting so still worth a go I reckon.

It looks very similar, just depends on the diameter of the fixed bayonet fitting. Do you know what the measurement is please?

I don't sorry. It's packed away at the moment. I'll have a look but it may be a day or so.

I have bought the Quecha air pump from Decathlon. It looks like the fitting will fit my tent but I won’t know definitely until I try to pump up my tent. Roll on some dry weather! I’ll update this post when I know.

Thanks Sean for your help.

Success! I can report that the Quecha Ultim Comfort 10psi does fit the Berghaus Air 4 tent. I have just inflated and deflated my tent using my new pump and the attachment fits securely. I also found the pump much better and easier to use than the Berghaus pump.

I bought it at a good price direct from Decathlon and had it delivered to my local Asda store. All very satisfactory. 😀
