I had bought a 'new' 2nd hand Outwell traverston 5 men tent on eBay last summer. Since it hasn't been used before, so we took it was safe to camp with it without testing. The fabric leaked so badly like a rainfall inside. The buyer wouldn't refund and Outwell would not do anything as I didn't have receipt. So after a year, I try to do something about it, as I feel ashamed to dump the tent as its only been used once.I had applied Mcnett Tent fabric selant at the ceiling where the grey colour fabric where was leaking, and it has some discoloration patches too. After the coating it's better but still leak. It seems the PU is degrading, as it's sticky to touch. My question is, will fabsil save the tent? Or I shouldn't waste money and effort?
Many thanks in advance for your advices.
